So many people think classical music is boring, but yet they hear Beethoven’s 5th symphony and get all excited (cuz they actually know the tune), how can I explain to someone that all classical music has its own uniqueness and excitement just like Beethoven’s 5th, all they have to do is listen and they will discover the beauty.

Can you recall all those Beatles tunes from the 1960′s and the begining of the 70’s? Ticket to Ride is undoubtedly one which often will come to your memory and featured John Lennon along with George Harrison playing what was to end up as the iconic Beatles instrument – the Epiphone Casino electric guitar.

During one point in time or another all three of the guitar performing Beatles actually owned and played Epiphone Casinos, and this one guitar solely is just what got them their own unique tone during this period of time.

During the early to late sixties semi hollow body and additionally hollow body guitars happened to be enormously preferred with pop groups, most certainly considerably more so compared with solid body guitars which surely started to make their impression in the seventies with super groups such as Led Zeppelin making popular the Gibson’s not to mention the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton delivering fabulous sound and tone out of Stratocasters. Rock songs in the 1970′s started to be far more musically dominated by instruments and it transformed into the age associated with the guitar solo, where loads of sustain ended up being the order of the day.

Go back in time ten years though and pop tunes were still dominated by harmonies in addition to vocals, and catchy songs that would dominate the radio waves. The Beatles having John Lennon and George Harrison each playing an Epiphone Casino guitar, were the powerhouse music group which spearheaded that period, and their songs have lived on and become classics in the ensuing 50 years.

Currently Epiphone have succesfully done a marvelous job in recreating guitars as used by the music masters all those decades ago. These types of instruments are much more than simply tributes, they are specific replicas using top quality components and electronics which recreate as close as possible the instruments that were made back then. Yet another such guitar is the Epiphone Casino Elitist – in essence a luthier made guitar with every single attention to details. These guitars are all a joy to play – being hollow suggests a ultra light weight guitar.

Mastering melodies by the Beatles can come to be a ton of fun simply because they are primarily 3 chord songs with moderately uncomplicated to understand rhythm combined with a not too tricky guitar solo someplace found in the midsection of the song. Playing Beatles tunes using a guitar comparable to models they themselves used makes that experience a whole lot better.

It is not clear how music influences the human. Some experts insist that music and musicians influence young people. Other sources insist that certain individuals respond to particular types of music and musical expression. Either way, today’s youth can see how their deary musicians dress and perform, both in public and in private, via the multiple media sources which are constantly monitoring the world’s celebrities. Young people can then elect to change their own appearance and behavior to reflect the musician and musical style that they most identify with.

Because of the different influences that the youth are exposed into, they are easily acquiring the curiosity of engaging into learning music. It may not incisively be reading musical notes and the other formal stuff regarding such, but at least, something highly relevant to it like playing musical instruments or simply singing.

Before, people, specially the youth, viewed Music, a subject in their primary and secondary schooling, as a conservative and boring one. With lots of different bits and pieces that should be memorized and understood without knowing their use and purpose, music then had been a vague and dull form of school activity to do.

perchance, the reason is that they relate music with “church” where they usually hear the hymns and praises when they were kids. They thought music should be solemnly verbalized all the time.

As these young people aged up, they began to realize how interesting music could be far from what they used to perceive. From all the different genres and styles, they found a match. I am sincerely glad to say that finally, they are now fascinated with music learning as well as music teaching.

Many are aware that music centers began to spring suddenly nowadays. People look for formal lessons and their aim is, of course, to learn music. They also want to develop the talents they believe they are blessed with.

Music teaching is definitely an subject when talking about learning music. Aside from being considered as something pretty difficult and tedious, many believe that it requires lots of effort, patience, and passion in doing so.

nonetheless, with the kinds of trends, technology and methods that we have right now, music teaching has become less complicated. Indeed, different resources and tools are made readily available to be an aid to anyone who has interests in music teaching. It may be through assorted means like seeking the help and guidance of music enthusiasts and experts, enrolling in various learning centers, reading music-related books, availing advanced music gadgets, or browsing the web.

With the proper training and the proper education, you can take the music world by storm, discovering new bands and then working hand in hand with them to groom them to become the next big thing! Better yet, you can go to a studio and help take to the next level talent that has already been molded. If you choose to do session work in-studio, the remarkable advances that have been made digitizing and computerizing music allow even the relative novice to get off and running, and with the leg up you’ll have from the training you have obtained, you will be at the front of the race in competing for those jobs. Truly, Milwaukee music schools are a wonderful way to jump start your career in the music business.

Many venue owners would like to sell tickets to their performances online via their own website, but may be uncertain of how to start. Here’s a brief overview of what is required .

To start with , you will either need to purchase a box-office ticketing software system, or more appropriately for smaller venues, sign up with a hosted ticketing provider . If you prefer to purchase box office ticket software outright, the advantage is you won’t normaly be billed with ongoing charges, except perhaps for some support fees or possibly additional charges for any upgrades and product enhancemants or bug fixes .  With a hosted system on the other hand , the ticketing software company hosts the box office software program on their own servers so you normally won’t have any significant upfront costs and any upgrades , bug fixes or enhancements will be routinely installed at no additional expense . However with this option the ticketing system provider will charge for the service provided based on either the value of all tickets sold , the number of tickets sold or perhaps will charge a monthly fee . So to some extent, the choice of which type of ticketing system to use to sell tickets online will depend on the number of tickets you expect to sell, the price of the tickets, and in relation to ongoing maintenance and upgrade costs for purchased software.

There are two sides to any ticket sales software . Firstly the administration side, where you typically log in to the system with a unique user name and password. It is here where you will set up your auditoriums or venues , your programs, your events, times and dates of events and also your pricing schedules . Depending on the system , you’ll have multiple options within the administration side of the program for setting up events, offering discounts or gift cards, setting up subscription tickets, setting up your customer database etc .

The other side of the ticketing program is the web side . Setting up the Web user interface will either require inserting a few lines of code into a particular page on your website or else the software provider will create a template page which looks precisely the same as your existing Web site pages. in this case, the ticket selection and payment processing will be carried out on a different URL from your website but will be linked by a “buy now” button or similar. Effectively however a customer would not be aware that they had been redirected to a different URL. This page will display all your events, which may be grouped by date and time , venue or address or program name. The ticket purchaser will then click on the name of event for which they require tickets which will bring them to the seat selection page.   After selecting the required tickets , the customer then proceeds to the payment page where they enter their credit card details.

To receive payment for tickets sold, you generally have two main choices. Firstly the box office software providor may handle the payments entirely and deposit all ticket income into a holding account. In this case, the ticket income is normally only transferred to the venue operator’s account after the event has taken place or perhaps on a monthly basis. A credit card procewssing charge will be deducted from the amount transferred.

The second alternative is to set up your own payment gateway and merchant account, which will allow all ticket revenue will be deposited into the account of the venue operator as soon as any ticket is sold. The ticketing software provider will normally bill usage fees for the system on a monthly basis in this case. Another option is to set up an account with PayPal which avoids the need to set up a payment gateway/merchant account.

After completing the online transaction , the customer may be given the option of either having the tickets posted directly to them, printing  PDF tickets at home, or receiving an an exchange voucher by email which they take to the box office before the event and exchange for actual tickets.  If you are offering a print-at-home option though , it is important to remember that there is nothing to prevent anyone from copying the PDF ticket This can be a problem for non resserved seating events.  With reserved seating events, it is not so much of a problem since obviously two people cannot sit in the same seat.   One way of solving this problem is to print all tickets with barcodes, but of course  this means that some form of bar code scanning device is required at the entrance to the venue. Scanners will require connection to a PC and will either confirm valid transactions from a downloaded data file or will require a live connection to the Internet and the ticketing software database .  The other alternative is to post all tickets. But in this case an appropriate ticket printer will be requited to print the tickets . Although specialist thermal ticket printers which are the ideal way of printing box office tickets, can be quite expensive, many ticketing systems will fortunately allow tickets to be printed by a standard laser or inkjet printer.

Basically however, these days there is very little impediment for even the smallest of schools, or non proft organizations from selling tickets online since ticketing software systems are increasingly affordable, easy to set up and easy to use.

The latest generation of mp3 players are fantastic and let you listen to your favorite music in just about any setting. Yet there are so many different types available now that you might find yourself overwhelmed if you go shopping for one. To help you pick the right one then below we discuss 4 things you should be looking out for when you buy a new mp3 player:

1. Memory: Of course the first thing you should look for when you are buying an mp3 player is the amount of memory it has. This can vary a great deal, and will affect how much music you will be able to store on your device. A flash player can hold up to 2,800 songs with 6GB of memory, that is a massive 190+ hours of music in your pocket. While flash players can hold up to 6GB, they are more commonly equipped with 512MB or 1GB, so make sure you double check. An mp3 player with a hard disk can hold a lot more, the minimum for them is about 4GB, and they go up to 60GB or more on the top end. So choose the right type and size based on how much you want to store on your player (if you are going to store video on it like the latest players allow, then you will probably need to opt for a hard drive version to get the size you need).

2. Software and Cables: You will need software and cables to use your mp3 player properly, so make sure the ones you are looking at come with them. You usually get two pieces of software, one to convert CDs into mp3 files to put onto your device, and one to organize your files and playlists etc, although you can often get one piece of software to do both. As long as you have the cables and some good quality software then transferring music to your mp3 player should be a doddle.

3. Usage: Think about what you need the mp3 player for, if you want it to use for exercise, going to the gym or jogging etc, then you might want to get a player which is aimed at sports people. These sports players are usually really small, and they use flash memory which means your music won’t be interrupted when it is getting thrown around in your pocket. Hard disk players do not hold up well to being shaken, which will disrupt the song. Sports players also come with extra features such as stopwatches, speed and distance meters, and are often water resistant to help resist sweat and/or rain.

4. Headphones: By far the biggest problem with portable audio is the headphones or earbuds that come as standard with mp3 players. They do work, but they are usually quite cheap which shows through in the sound quality they provide. Some manufacturers are starting to come around and give decent quality headphones with their products (like Apple), but make sure you look into that before you part with any money.

Once you’ve chosen an mp3 player then you will probably need some better headphones, if you want some funky ones then get a set of pink headphones, check out PinkHeadphones.org for more info.

I mean in the use of musical theory (armony, improvisation, counterpoint, etc) is there a big difference between classical music and rock(good rock, like king crimson) or jazz?

Also i would like you to recommend me some classical composers and performers as well.

Thanks!
