lol why is it on all classicial music there are conversations about religion?
@coleandgrant3 Yeah, because calling something very accepted such as being gay really raises your intelligence. First off, you’re being rude and you compare something as hard to play as harpsichord with GUITAR. The most played instrument of all time… Congratulations.
@coleandgrant3 i enjoy many different kinds os music. i enjoy bach and cannibal corpse, dimmu borgir, and six feet under. and no offence but i think some of the greatest minds in hostory have listened to this kind of music
@CminorMaxG ME LIMITED?! Dear sir YOU are limited! YOU wouldn’t know good music (i.e METALLICA) if it kicked you in the ass
You must be the one who has “ZERO intelligence”, I speak on behalf of all those you offend, and you have badly chosen your words. It is unfortunate that you are so limited by your own narrow perceptions of what is music that you cannot appreciate the differences in styles and interpretation sans guitar. I have heard several versions of this triple concerto, and it is no worse than any other.
I wonder how you would react if you heard one of Bach’s arrangements for this same work!
this song is so gay. there isn’t even any guitar! and whoever listens to this has ZERO intelligence. I have a theory degree and this minimalist bullshit is so overrated.
@chadaniels lol your an atheist? WHAT A FAG! SCIENTOLOGY PWNS!!!!
Don’t argue politics and religion in comments. They’re forbidden subjects. The piece is wonderful, that’s all there is to it.
I refuse to be dictated to by you or by anybody else. I will be creative in my expression and I will be at liberty in my person. I live so deal with it.
Unfortunately I am not arguing whether bach was a man of faith or not. Given his large amount of worship music and reharmonized chorales and hymnalls, that is not a validly arguable point. I am talking about YOU. Dont be so bold as to think that whatever religion you have, that Bach had the same or that any of us really care. Music is about interpretation. Whatever its original intent, the world has changed much since the baroque era, so stop pulling out quotes and arguing mute points.
I agree, I’m a composer and a big Bach fan. Also an atheist.
“Music’s only purpose should be the glory of God and the recreation of the human spirit.” J.S. Bach. Now stop this tomfoolery because you are digging yourself a hole.
Well since there wasnt an internet in the baroque era that would be irrelevant. All Im saying is dont use Bachs gift of music as a chance to get across some of your own religious ideals. In my opinion, music is a much more powerful form of religion and spirituality than any current christianity or supposed faith, because it cannot be twisted by any sense of false judgement or morality, it simply cannot be anything but beneficial to the world. If that god thing works for you great. Shh..listen.
So strong, so passionate.
In one word brilliant!
I’m a metal vocalist =D
Good to see that more metal people listen to classical music
You are an idiot. Just listen to the music and leave your religious crap at the sign on screen.
Bach was a genius. Thank you for posting. I love the sound of a harpsichord, especially one in a Bach piece.
Bach reminds me how good God is. This is worship music.
well Im a metal guitar player and composer and I love classic…I really think that classic and metal music could be harmonious between each other … just listen to neoclassical metal
actually bach ’s genius is a universal language, powerful, elementary, and easy. Nobody with some taste can miss it…and what about Vivaldi? bach trancribed a lot after him…
