Soundtrack available magnatune.com Air on the G String: Bach’s timeless work, performed on original instruments by Voices of Music and accompanied by a montage of the most beautiful images of deep space. Visit us at www.voicesofmusic.org for more videos and concert information. Featuring Elizabeth Blumenstock and Katherine Kyme, baroque violins; Lisa Grodin, baroque viola, Joanna Blendulf, baroque cello; William Skeen, violone; Hanneke van Proosdij, chamber organ; David Tayler, theorbo. Every effort has been made to recreate the original ensemble that performed this piece. This includes using the original violins, viola, cello, baroque organ with German style pipes and wind chest, as well as the strings and baroque bows. A characteristic pitch of 415.3 Hz was chosen which is lower than the modern Concert pitch of 440Hz. This pitch favors the colors of the baroque strings and Continuo. Bowing patterns, articulation, trills and ornamentation are all based on German 17th century performance practice. Beyond words. Funny; how tears come to my eyes when such things happen.
Just the place I want to go while listening to Bach, thank you!
The images mixed with this music really make me think of the sheer vastness of space and the limitless opportunities therein.
Woah. All of it is so beautiful. The music, the images. This is one of my favorite pieces. Are the images from the Hubble?
I really love this video, wonderful images and music! You have created such a beautiful video.
Sound track now available at Instant Encore, Voices of Music. –walvis2007
Ma sedendo e mirando, interminati
spazi di là da quella, e sovrumani
silenzi, e profondissima quïete
…Così tra questa
Infinità s’annega il pensier mio:
E ‘l naufragar m’è dolce in questo mare.
Wow…I think, I think this song literally blew my mind..amazing!
este tema y el canon de pachelbel para mi son los mejores temas de la historia de la musica classical
love it, i wish i could float through space while listening to this loll. i guess ill reserve that desire for my….dreams.
isso ai! essas musicas nos fazem lembrar do infinito…lembra-nos tambem que somos infinitos, podemos chegar a qualquer lugar do universo so com o pensamento…………….
All that is essential to the piece is here and it’s beautiful. A ‘larger’ arrangement now sounds indulgent and saccharine.
