I m planning to be a psychologist one day, u know the one that helps people and prescribes people medicine. Well i know its gonna have to go to med school for my medical training and then take psychology classes my question is what can i do with a bach degree in psychology, how would i earn a living by that point, what can i do that will help me and get me paid?

    You probably won’t do much of anything with a psy degree. I have a BA psy and I do IT jobs related to certs I got in jr. college. Only thing a BA psy is good for is going into a masters or phd program is psy, or going into either business, law, or medical school. If you want to prescribe medication you will probably become a psychiatrist. If you want to become a psychiatrist then you don’t need a BA in psy, you can get a bachelors in anything, aslong as you take your pre-med courses and take the mcats, then you go to med school to specialize in psychiatry.
